Jackals Dream accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms: two king rooms with en-suite bathrooms and two rooms with two single beds. There are a total of 3 bathrooms for your convenience.

Jackals Dream is ideal for families, two families travelling together, or groups of friends.

Absolutely! While wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, you may spot giraffes, zebras, kudus, impalas, bushbuck, warthogs and mongooses roaming freely around Marloth Park. They often visit our garden and even wander past the pool!

During load-shedding or a municpal power failure, an inverter ensures that lights and fans remain operational. Plus, our gas stove allows you to cook without interruption.

Yes, children of all ages are welcome! Please keep in mind that Jackals Dream is located in a wildlife area where wild animals roam freely, so children must always be supervised outdoors. The splash pool is not fenced and requires constant adult supervision when children are swimming.

Yes, a private splash pool, available all year. The pool is not heated.

Check-in from 15:00 to 18:00, check-out by 10:00. Our property manager welcomes you on arrival. Always provide your estimated time of arrival or departure so you don't have to wait.

Late arrivals can be accommodated by prior arrangement. Please note that an additional fee may apply.

From R3,300 per night in low season to R5,000 in peak season, for the whole villa. A week gets 10% off. See rates for live prices. Booking directly with us is the most affordable option, offering the best rates compared to online travel agencies.

Our rates include accommodation, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and reasonable use of water, electricity and gas. We also provide a few starter essentials, including toilet paper, hand soap, coffee, tea and a dishwasher tablet. A basic cleaning fee is included in the booking price. Starter supplies are not replenished during your stay.

Jackals Dream is a self-catering holiday home, giving you the freedom to prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen. We provide a few basic essentials for your arrival, but groceries and additional supplies are your own responsibility.

If you prefer to take a break from cooking, we can share the details of local private chefs who can prepare a meal at the house, at an additional cost. Additional cleaning services can also be arranged on request, subject to availability and an extra fee.

A refundable security deposit of ZAR 3,500 per stay is required. It will be refunded to your original payment account within 10 working days after departure, provided no damage has occurred and the house rules have been followed. 

Any costs for damage, excessive cleaning or breaches of the house rules may be deducted from the deposit.

Yes. We have good contacts with local safari guides and a private chef who can collect you from Jackals Dream or prepare a delicious dinner at the villa. We’re happy to share their details and help you arrange these experiences on request, at an additional cost.

May to September (dry season) is best for game viewing. October to April is green, warm and great for birds and newborn animals.
