Luxurious villa in Marloth Park

Our self-catering holiday home offers all the luxury you need for a perfect holiday with family and friends. The house has more than enough space for 8 guests.

It's the ultimate escape, a home away from home where you can unwind and enjoy a perfect holiday in the bush. Animals roam freely around the house and Kruger National Park is just around the corner.

There are 4 bedrooms with 2 beds each. The 2 large bedrooms upstairs both have an en-suite bathroom. The 2 smaller bedrooms downstairs have a bathroom to share.

In the house you'll find an open plan kitchen with a large refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave and 5 burner gas stove. Next you will find the utility room with washing machine and dryer available for our guests to use. There also are a dining area and a living room with television (bring your own device to connect).

African bush life is all about outdoor living. On our beautiful roofed patio you will find an outdoor kitchen with a built-in braai, dining table and a large lounge area. Here you can sit and relax and enjoy the sounds of the bush.

Cool off in the splash pool where our house hippo Bella likes to keep you company. And maybe the kudus or the giraffe will come and take a look at you while you relax on the patio.

The cherry on the cake is our rooftop terrace where in the evening you can sit and enjoy the sunset. We can say we have the best view from Marloth Park. You can see Kruger and the mountains. Watching the sun set in the Kruger Park from your own rooftop terrace is ultimate happiness.

Jackals Dream has an inverter to ease loadshedding. Fans and lights are on the inverter.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The house features four bedrooms, each with two beds. Upstairs, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with a super king-size bed. Both have their own en-suite bathrooms. Downstairs, two smaller bedrooms each have two single beds and share a bathroom.

Kitchen & Living Areas

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a large refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave and five-burner gas stove. An adjoining utility room offers a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. The house also has a separate dining area and a comfortable living room with a smart TV.

Outdoor Living

Life in the African bush is all about outdoor living. Our covered patio is designed for exactly that, with an outdoor kitchen featuring a built-in braai, a dining table and a spacious lounge area. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy a meal and listen to the sounds of the bush.

Cool off in the splash pool while Bella, our laid-back resident hippo, keeps watch. You might even spot kudus, giraffes and other wildlife stopping by for a closer look.

Rooftop Terrace

The highlight of Jackals Dream is undoubtedly the rooftop terrace. Take in panoramic views of Kruger National Park and the distant mountains, and settle in for an unforgettable African sunset. With a little luck, you may even spot elephants moving through the park as the sun dips below the horizon. It’s a truly special experience.

Power & Water Backup

To make your stay as comfortable as possible, Jackals Dream is equipped with an inverter to help keep essential lights and fans running during load-shedding or other power outages. We also have a JoJo water tank to provide a backup supply should

the municipal water supply be interrupted.

MARLOTH PARK
Directly bordering Kruger

Jackals Dream is located in Marloth Park. Marloth Park is a nature reserve directly adjacent to the Kruger National Park. We are separated from Kruger Park only by the Crocodile River and a fence. Marloth Park is home to many wild animals such as zebra, kudus, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, mongoose, warthog and bush baby. During the day, the park is perfect for riverside walks or bush exploration.

SOUTH AFRICA

Millions of tourists find their way to South Africa every year. Almost obvious we might say, because South Africa has lots to offer. You can enjoy the hospitality, rich culture, the wine region, the Garden Route, Panorama Route and of course the wildlife parks such as our backyard: the Kruger Park. In South Africa you can easily travel around on your own in a (rental) car or go on a (partially) organized trip.

WILDLIFE

Of course you will visit the Kruger National Park when you stay in our house. Here you will find a lot of wildlife, of course the big five and the small five or the ugly five!
You can enter the park independently or join an organized game drive. Various tours can be booked from Marloth Park. Crocodile Bridge Gate is about 20 minutes from Jackals Dream.

"Perfect spot in Marloth park. Close to crocodile gate for Kruger access and a very comfy and luxurious house to stay with family and friends. Maaike shared great tips and we enjoyed a chefs diner in our house and a private drive into Kruger. Zebras and other wildlife around the house are also very enjoyable. Definitely recommend. "

"A beautiful house in the bush with stylish decor and everything you could need. Roof terrace was spectacular, a perfect place for wine and a sunset. Perhaps best of all we had numerous animal visitors including: kudu, impala, bushbuck, warthogs, monkeys, mongoose, and a family of giraffe that wandered within 20 meters of the property.
